Dress Sizes
Mood:  irritated

Just an observation . .

I have been watching dress sizes over the years, and although I seem to be the same size, I have to buy a bigger size. But my waist has not grown!

Has anyone been trying on dresses lately (Prom, wedding, . . formals of any kind!)

I have been trying on bridesmaids dresses. . and why can't i use the same size as my jeans?

I know that wedding dresses are the same?

Why is it that at a woman's most cherished day she is made to feel as though she is rolling down the aisle instead of walking?

I know it's a long shot but for all you ppl who make wedding dresses and designers as well, how much more $$$ do you think you'd get if your dresses were off by a size, on the other end of the scale, instead of ladies having to get larger sizes... how happy would she be to get to try on a smaller size?

Reverse psychology works on ladies too! Especially when they are all frazzled out over wedding issues, you'd think the wedding dress and sizes would not be an issue to add on top of everything else.

I know I'm not the only person to notice this, as to my AMEN calls from other stalls at a bridal store, when making a few comments out loud to myself (yes, I was not aware that I had actually said things that loud, but those little rooms are quite small and smooshed together). But all being finding my "dress size" which differs greatly from my pant size, why are there no mirrors in the stalls?

You smoosh yourself and the "girls" into their proper places, and hope for the best as you are tossed out to the lions to see if you look good, ok, or like a rubberband has been tied around a tomato too tightly?  For those ladies who are a bit bashful, and not wanting to get instant glances and snickers or hushed comments from the ENTIRE store when you walk out, these types of situations are not condusive to a healthy image.

Whether you're 15 or 65!

Just an observation, from an average lady.. take note dress designers... I know I'm not alone!
